It made me remember my HS years. I used to befriend “juvenile” dudes, just listening to them…their stories and all that. I ask them questions, they will answer obligingly. Give them my thoughts on certain issues…I lost contact when I went to college. And thinking now, most of them are dead and gone. Young and dead…the society we are living in now…

I was telling my dad about the reactions on Manny Pacman’s win against Marquez and he told me this same boxing principle (via Tatika): “Marquez was the challenger in the fight, and he already lost twice against Manny. One of the many HIGHER BOXING PRINCIPLES that most of us are not aware of is that it is highly improbable for a challenger to win despite punch points advantage IF THERE WAS NO KNOCKDOWN. In other words, the Manny’s victory is justified, because he made it to round 12 without any knockdown. The assessment was not purely based on the fight’s statistics, but also on the standings of both fighters in the sport. In the recent fight, the latter prevailed.”
